The countdown has started. I have 2 days before my CPA test. I am a little concerned that I am too calm. I am not in a panic or frantically trying to cram everything in. I believe it is because I stayed on top of my schedule and know where I am in the schedule at all times.
If you recall I was behind by 12 hours the last time I blogged with 7 study days left. I am now ahead of my schedule. I was able to employ the help of family to watch my son, so that I could get that extra time to study. I am very lucky that my family has been helpful in this adventure.
I recently watched the CPA exam review from Rogers CPA review again. It stated to do the review questions 2-3 times each. The first time I watched it, I thought that meant to go through the entire book then redo the homework again, and if time allowed do it another time. Then I watched it again after I read the blog from Roger saying to do the homework 2 to 3 times before moving on to the next section. It makes sense, but I wasn’t doing it that way. When I found this out, I had already completed the video lectures and done the multiple choice questions once. So it was too late for me to follow that advice, I wish I had done that the first time around.
My current game plan is to go back and do the review questions again 2 times and if I get it wrong on both of those, I review the information, and do it again a third time. I should be done with that today, and start using the software. I have also asked for help from my family, again, to watch my son the next two days so I can get a full 8 hours in both days. I don’t know if I will get the full 8 hours, but I am going to try.
I hope I am able to stay calm for the remaining days and during the test. I will keep you informed with how things are going
