Intrigued by IFRS
Just recently, I completed a research paper on IFRS adoption in the United States. I really took an interest in international reporting and accounting. I think what intrigued me the most about IFRS is the idea of taking my accounting skills overseas and all over the world. Although IFRS is a new testing area on the CPA exam and will require additional study time, I'm excited about the opportunities and the transferability of this particular skill-set.

Yippy for Yaeger
After careful research and literally reading through every CPA review related blog, I finally settled on Yaeger. For some reason I feel a natural comfortability with their "old school college lessons using the blackboard" format. The YouTube sample videos really sold me on the Yaeger program. The instructors were awesome and each one reminded me of my favorite college accounting professors in some way or another. Inspiration from Tragedy
The last 5 years or so, I've tried to start the process of sitting for the cpa exam and finally obtaining my CPA license. But tragedy seemed to be hiding around every corner. First, my mother had knee surgery and it took months of around the clock care and my exhausting just about all my leave.
