Hey Kristen! How's it going? Haven't seen much from you lately but I'm sure that's b/c you're working hard. Like I should be right now...but I just needed a break and wasn't really thinking about Installment Sales too well. Hope you're doing well!

Hey! So I did this last time I took and passed AUD and it really seemed to help me, I read through the chapters and took like a million notes, I basically almost rewrote the entire book. It actually did wonders on memorizing the info, of course my hand hurt, some of the notes weren't readable but I think it really did make the difference.

Any tips on studying for FAR? It's my last one and I'm already just ready to be done. :) Hard to get back in that study spirit!

How'd you do on AUD? Happy a few days possibly weeks late on your birthday! :) I passed REG, and now I'm on to AUD and taking it in 3 weeks, hope the 2nd time works better for the both of us! When are you retaking FAR? I'm aiming for late May I think, have to pass all by July 31st or I need 4 additional credits. 

It took me a while to learn the variance analysis. I worked out all the examples in the book as well as the MCQs several times. And I memorized the "ABA BSA" mnemonic (at least that's what I think it is now! LOL)  I think Peter Olinto does a good job of explaining it in the lecture.

Oh, and thanks for still holding on to my CDs. When we meet up again for a study session....you can give them back to me.

I hope you are right on that!  I'm going to pay for my NTS today so I can schedule my exam in a couple of days.

Did you receive your audit score yet? How much longer do you have to wait for it!

Hey how are you Kristen!  Year-end was nothing short of rough!!!  This month has been super crazy with working late hours....working on the weekends from home...and even working while I was battling the cold/flu from home!  If I had 10 hours a week to study for the exam it was a miracle!  I now have 3 weeks to get my butt in gear and pass this exam. I haven't scheduled my test date thinking that I might need to postpone to April.  what do you think? Do you think 3 weeks is enough time to remember audit using my final review material and redoing the MCQs from the regular audit course?

dont u worry, ur gonna get those exams ou of the ball park. U passed the most difficult ones which are REG and FAR, iv yet to get them out of the way.. honestly my biggest fear is REG, it's going to be my third retake in May and im scared I might not be able to do it, I cant get taxes in my head, I am an audit person and taxes just dont make sense to me.. im actually thinking of switching to Roger, I hear he does a great job in REG.. lemme know if you need a few pointers in Audit

Thank you so much for your kind words Kristen.  This was my 5th attempt at AUD and will be my 5th attempt at FAR.  I passed REG on the first try, but I've been doing taxes for 10 years.  BEC took two attempts.  I'm just very frustrated at this point.  I've used Becker, Wiley and Gleim.  I have never been good with word problems and it takes me time to decipher what they are asking.  Today it seemed like the longer I looked at a problem, the more confused I got.  I know I shouldn't put the cart before the horse yet.  I also lose REG in April so I have to get these 2 kicked out before then. But again, thank you. I think I will take a couple days off.
