Comment by Prashant 10 hours ago Now that I have passed I can say this - The Becker problems are generally more difficult but less tricky...The exam problems (or at least my exam) are more tricky and less difficult and reinforce the simple concepts that we learned but didn't necessarily see any problems on in Becker or Wiley....Hence the focus on reading the problem and relaxing. I was very tense myself and I know that hurt me from a time stand point...
Comment by Madhavilatha 11 hours ago thank you for your advice Prashant. I am surprised that you read my mind.yes as you said I am tensed about FAR. I wish I pass. By the way Congrats...
Comment by Prashant 13 hours ago @Sumi - thanks - sorry - Didn't catch your comment earlier...hope things are going well in the bay area...missing San Fran on a soggy day in the Burgh! Think scores for some states are only thru their own boards (IL is another one - CA might be the same)...
Comment by Prashant 13 hours ago @Madhavi - you are welcome - when is the exam? suggest you relax, don't get tense and read the exam question twice before answering and you will do great!
Comment by Madhavilatha 14 hours ago Thank you Prashant for your reply. I had doubt coz nothing was mentioned in Wiley about this point.
Comment by Prashant 15 hours ago I would assume that if the question is silent on the refundable status, then the deposit is refundable and is considered an asset for the lessee and a liability for the lessor - Someone correct me if you think otherwise!
Comment by Madhavilatha yesterday Can any one please explain how a rent deposit under operating lease is treated in the books of lessee, if the question is silent about the refundable status of rent deposit?
Comment by Prashant yesterday @Rob - Think I owe it to you as well - thanks for all your help. It was invaluable!
Comment by Sumi Shah on Thursday I've been getting my scores from the CA BOA and i only received one score. Is there another place to retrieve the "advisory" score- it would be nice to see it earlier. I didn't find the score retrieval on the NASBA website for California.
